This website https://Araku.Coffee is about the GI tagged Arabica coffee grown in the Araku valley and the surrounding hills in the south-eastern hill ranges of India (aka eastern ghats), in the state of Andhra Pradesh, in Visakhapatnam district.
The organic coffee grown by tribal farmers in Araku won a gold medal at the Prix Epicures OR 2018 in Paris, France. This is the first and only Indian coffee to have won the award. The cultivation of coffee in Araku was initiated by the government of Andhra Pradesh in 1956 to develop the tribal people of the hills in Visakhapatnam district.
Araku.Coffee gives a mild brew with a pepper note, as black pepper is the most interspersed crop here. Strawberry is also grown in these areas.
